Criticism in the Creative Field

It’s important to be critical (sometimes harshly critical) of design around us.
When we see something we don’t like, ask yourself, what don’t I like about it?

It allows us to realise what not to do. We gain understanding within ourselves of what we think “successful design” is.

We gain awareness of what specific design elements can have on the audience. Simply because we are looking at a design as the user.

To know where we are going wrong is a means of striving for perfection.

Can too much criticism be a bad thing?

How critical are you of design of others?

How critical are you of your own design?

Have you ever found yourself redoing a design, entirely on your own accord?

Tell me about it!
